“Lucy Haighton is an exceptional practitioner who inspires confidence by holding a safe space for self-expression through dance. Lucy balances supporting people to step out of their comfort zone with warm and joyous energy. As a result the work she creates enables participants to contribute, in ways that defy stereotypes and push at creative boundaries”

“Our work with 50+CDS has shown us just how exceptional Lucy is as a practitioner. Her passion for dance and movement, and her unwavering zeal for her craft, shine through in all her endeavours. In our many years working together, Lucy brought artistic rigour, generosity, and a deep respect for older dancers, creating spaces where creativity, confidence, and community thrive. Her contribution continually enriched our wider programme with her insight, energy, and dedication”

“It was such a genuine pleasure to work with Lucy on our project with Save the Children UK in Sheffield. From the outset, she brought such warmth, kindness and honesty to the work, creating an environment where everyone in the room felt comfortable and valued. Children from all different places were hanging on her every word during sessions and continued talking about her long afterwards, always excited for when she would return the following week. Lucy took great care in the process of working with Save the Children, never rushing but instead taking time to reflect, problem-solve and shape work creatively so it can be the best it possibly can be. She helped us to think outside of the box and take on new exciting forms of creativity. Lucy brings both professionalism and real joy to everything she does, and I would not hesitate to work with her again“
