I hear ya Zosia Jo!
‘On giving up not giving up’ articulates the struggles of being freelance in the arts and playing the ever saturating, ever depressing, ever pull your teeth out funding game! Which Zosia Jo describes as The Capitalist Hustle.
And Zosia has decided no more. After 9 years crafting a career in the arts I can relate to everything she writes here and understand her decision. Maybe one day I’ll write my own blog post. I have touched on these ideas in previous posts but for now I’m reading Zosia’s words. Thank you for writing them and I’m sorry you had to.
